We want your experience at The Carpenter's House to feel like you just came home. As you drive onto our property you will find several parking spaces labeled "Guest Parking." These spaces have been reserved especially for you and your family.
From guest parking it is just a short walk to the front door where you will be met by one of our Welcome Team members. They will greet you with a warm smile and hand you one of our guest packets. This packet will include everything you will need to have a positive experience including a bulletin and guest information card. The Welcome Team will also be available to answer any questions you may have concerning our services, ministries, or facilities. (In the case of inclement weather such as rain, our Welcome Team will be ready to assist you by providing umbrellas, extra hands, and anything else you may need.)
Guest Information Cards
You will not feel pressured to fill out one of our guest information cards, however, we would love the opportunity to get to know you a little better. If you choose to, someone from the church will follow up with a phone call to thank you for coming. You will also be added to our church mailing list. At no time will a representative of the church show up at your home unannounced.
Before and after every service the Information/Resource Center will provide a place for you to learn more about The Carpenter's House and the ministries we offer. It will also be a place for you to ask questions or check out some of the resources we have available to help you become all the God has designed for you to become!
The music is vital in creating an atmosphere where Christ is EXPERIENCED and where people are FREE to worship Him in 'spirit and in truth.' The style and quality of music is very important to us at The Carpenter's House. We strive to present an upbeat blend of your favorite hymns along with some of today's favorite contemporary worship songs. Neither too hot nor too cold, we believe that you will find our music just right.
Always practical and uplifting, our messages are approximately 35 minutes in length and always from the Bible. You will hear the truth spoken in a spirit of love. The pastor will present the message in a way that enables you to understand what God is saying to you and the church. He may use various methods in communicating such as multimedia, visual aids/demonstrations, stories, humor, etc. You will be challenged and encouraged to be everything God has called you to be.
At the close of each message, our pastor will give an opportunity for everyone to respond to the Word of God and the tugging of the Holy Spirit. During this time, we ask that you limit movement and do not leave the sanctuary, but pray and ask God how He would have you respond to Him as well as pray for those who have needs or are making decisions.
For your convenience, during our services we have provided a Nursery for your babies and toddlers ages birth to 2 years old, and we have a wonderful program for your children ages 3 through 6th grade called "The Carpenter's Kids." Your children are very important to us, and we understand how difficult it can be for children coming to a new place and meeting new people. If for some reason your child does not wish to stay in our Nursery or children's church, you are more than welcome to allow them to stay with you during the worship service.
You are invited to come as you are. Most of the people who attend each week do not wear a suit and tie. However, we do ask that you please exercise modesty.
